Chaos Valencia Chalice

This is a WYSIWYG Chaos Valencia Chalice. The Chalice Coral are stony corals, requiring sustained levels of calcium carbonates along with other trace elements to thrive. You can also influence the direction that this coral will grow to an extent by feeding the mouths on the side you want the coral to grow.

Proxy bidding is turned on.   You can put the max amount you are willing to pay and the software will bid on your behalf.  Only the minimum amount needed for you to be high bid will be applied.

Shipping is a FLAT fee, you only pay it once and can add as many corals as you like.

Husbandry

Chalice Coral are nocturnal feeders, but will readily adapt to a daytime feeding schedule. Chalice growth is really dependent upon the specimen. Some species such as enchinopora lamellosa (aka hollywood stunner) with paper thin skeletons have a very rapid growth rate. Flow rate will play a role in chalice growth. The growth rate will slow and vice versa for low current if the coral needs to develop a thicker skeleton due to strong currents.

Most Chalice Corals will increase the production of mouths (eyes) as they get comfortable with their environment and begin growing. You can also influence the direction that this coral will grow to an extent by feeding the mouths on the side you want the coral to grow.
